In the early hours of Monday, 13th December, a fire outbreak occurred at 18, Otigba Street, Computer Village, Ikeja. The fire consumed a shopping complex, destroying properties worth millions of naira.

Just as shop owners were kick starting their activities on Monday, fire broke out at a shopping complex in computer village, Ikeja, Lagos.
At the time of this report, the source of the fire was still unknown, but firefighters and other emergency agencies had prevented the further spread of the inferno.
Speaking about the incident, the spokesperson Lagos state police command CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu said that emergency agencies had put out the fire, and that no life was lost. “However, valuable property which estimates are not yet known were destroyed.”
