The National President of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), Mr. Anderson Umezurike Ezeibe, has hinted that the union might embark on an indefinite strike anytime.

Driving The News. 
The union president, while speaking at the Hussain Adamu Federal Polytechnic, Kazaure, Jigawa state, said that the Federal Government has not honored its deal with the union which was established in June, 2021. Mr. Anderson added that the deal with the Federal Government was what made the union call of its strike action in June last year. 

Listing the grudges between the union and the Federal Government, the union leader said that President Buhari has neither paid the revitalization funds nor the minimum wage arrears. He further added that the National executives have decided to embark on a strike action to express their displeasure with the Federal Government.
