According to the British commission, Nigerians can apply for any visa category of their choice as, against yesterday’s statement misinterpreted as a complete suspension of UK visa applications. Priority visas, which sees applicants pay more for their applications to be prioritized, continue to be suspended.
The British High Commission continues the Ukraine Family Scheme, where applicants can join family members or extend their stay in the UK. With the family scheme, the UK’s global visa operations would prioritize Ukrainian applicants. This scheme comes as an aid to Ukrainians as Russia continues to invade the country.
