President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday said 1.5 trillion dollars is the estimated amount needed by Nigeria over a calculated ten-year period, to achieve an appreciable level of the National Infrastructure Stock. He gave the figure to Gaslow at the COP-26 conference. His speech further elaborated on the steps his administration has taken to ensure infrastructure expansion in Nigeria, being conscious of the fact that new investments in critical sectors of the economy would aid in lifting 100 million Nigerians from poverty by 2030
WHY IT MATTERS
