The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority says it would fine international airlines that do not comply with the revised Covid-19 quarantine protocols set by the Federal Government.
The Big Picture.
On the 1st July 2021, the Federal Government issued a revised quarantine protocol for international flights. This protocol ordered airlines to only fly to Nigeria personnel with permit to travel and a negative Covid test result which was carried out in 48 hours or fewer from the time of boarding
Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority has again reminded international airlines to ensure these protocols are strictly followed or would pay a fine of $3500 per passenger. It further added that if the airline continues to flaunt these requirements, it would ban them from Nigeria.
