The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has announced that all registered candidates of the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination should endeavor to print their notification slips.
Driving the news
The Head, Public Affairs and Protocol of JAMB, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, explained that the printing of the notification slips would inform candidates of the time, session, and venue of the forthcoming examination.
- Dr Fabian further added that this directive is important to candidates because of the several changes in examination schedules of the year, 2022.
Why it matters
JAMB is directing candidates to print their notification slips days before the examination to enable them to adequately prepare for their respective dates. The board has a standing policy of no rescheduling of examinations.
Current situation
The 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) is scheduled to run from Friday, May 6th 2022 to Saturday 14th 2022.
- JAMB has a list of prohibited items including flash drives, smart watches, calculators, recorders, mobile phones, spy reading glasses, jewelries, etc.
- The board also reminds candidates of the Biometric Verification Machine (BVM) used for identifying and noting the attendance of candidates.
