Joint Admission Matriculation Board.

Dr Fabian Benjamin, the head of media and public relations of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB says that candidates taking part in the mock Unified Tertiary and Matriculation Examinations would pay a service fee of N1000.

Current situation
JAMB increased UTME’s mock service charge from N600 to N1000 for candidates due to the rise in prices of diesel. This hike in service charge serves as a subsidy to designated JAMB CBT centers to enable them to conduct mock exams as inflation rates continue to rise. The mock exam is scheduled to be held on Saturday, 9th April 2022.

What they are saying
Mr. Fabian Benjamin, speaking on behalf of JAMB, said that the practice test is optional for 2022 UTME candidates. He added that the mock exam is advisable because it familiarizes participants with an examination environment.
