The statement reads in part that “the command is also working closely with other sister security agencies to ensure that no person or group of persons succeeds in destabilizing the peace and serenity enjoyed by the good people of Lagos State.’’

In case you missed it
The security crisis in the country has raised concern amongst Nigerians over the last few days. Terrorist groups have threatened to kidnap President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State while orchestrating attacks in different part of the country.

Most recently, these terrorists launched a daring attack on Nigerian Guards Brigade whose primary duty is to protect the President and his family, the Vice President and other Very Important Persons in the country.

In light of these issues, opposition senators last week staged a walkout during a plenary session to express their displeasure over the handling of the security crisis by Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari. There were also calls for the impeachment of the president.

The Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu, ordered the closure and evacuation of students of all unity schools in Abuja.
