The Lawyer to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Barrister Aloy Ejimakor has spoken on the living condition of the IPOB leader.

Why it matters?
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has been in federal custody since 27th June. They arrested him on charges of felony and terrorism. The Federal Government has further increased his count charges to seven from the five it previously was.

Speaking about his detention conditions, Barrister Aloy Ejimakor said “Mazi Kanu be given maximum comfort possible in the detention facility. That he be allowed a change of clothing.”
 
Barrister Aloy Ejimakor in speaking about the next date for the next court hearing, said that, “The court, after going through what it said is a tight judicial calendar, moved the date of the next hearing backwards from 19th to 18th January 2022.”
