The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has warned Nigerians that a fourth wave of covid-19 is looming as Nigeria records 754 recent cases in 11 states.
The Big Picture.
Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday released the statistics of infected cases in Nigeria and it recorded a disturbing increase in the number of infections with one death.
According to statistics, the last time Nigeria recorded such many cases was on October 17th 2021; that day, there were 376 cases along with 35 deaths. With the festive season already in the air, where there would be large gatherings and several social events, if preventive measures are not in full gear, cases may reach new highs.
Lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu days ago hinted at the possibility of a fourth wave. NCDC continues to encourage Nigerians to not relent in observing Covid guidelines.
