The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, Maj. Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim, has heaped high praises on the House of Representatives for considering the bill to establish NYSC Trust Fund.

Speaking at the swearing in ceremony of Batch A Stream I corps members, the Director General represented by the State Coordinator, Gombe State, Ada Imoni, praised the members of the House of Representatives for considering such a bill. General Ibrahim also thanked Nigerians for their support in the matter, especially at the public hearing of the Trust Fund a while back.
He added that the trust fund would equip corps members with the financial ability to be independent, as well as provide them with sufficient capital and infrastructure. The Director then called on the relevant authorities to ensure that the Trust Fund becomes a reality.
