On Thursday, 3rd February, the House of Representatives adjourned a plenary session following the non-availability of order paper by the National Assembly Management.
Why it matters?
An order paper is a publication shared to every member of the house present at a plenary session. The order paper details the motions, hearings, and bills to be attended to by the lawmakers on a legislative day. Without an order paper, there will be no proper guide on the matters to be addressed by the House.
Following the discovery of the non-availability of the order paper, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, adjourned the plenary till next week Tuesday.
