President Muhammadu Buhari, while speaking in an interview on Channels Television on Wednesday, admitted that he fears he would place his candidate in danger if he reveals the candidate’s identity.

In the interview, President Buhari spoke about the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, State Police and grazing routes and other matters, Brief reports.
He also said that he has no interest in the upcoming presidential election. As regards his favorite candidate President Buhari said “I won’t tell you my favorite for 2023, he may be eliminated if I mention. I better keep it a secret.”
When asked about the Electoral Amendment Bill, he expressed his readiness to sign the bill if the National Assembly makes the changes he suggested.
