On the evening of March 28th, bandits attacked a passenger train carrying 362 people along the Abuja-Kaduna rail track. Recent reports state that the bandits abducted 168 people, killed 8 passengers and caused severe damage to the train and rail tracks.
The acting managing Director of Bank of Agriculture, BOA, Alwan Ali Hassan, regained his freedom after reportedly paying an undisclosed amount as ransom.
