WHO Releases Two New Treatment for Covid.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has approved a 9th covid-19 vaccine named CovovaxTM for emergency usage in low-income countries.

CovovaxTM manufactured by the Institute of India is an initiative of the World Health Organization to help people in low-income countries boost their immune system against coronavirus.

WHO Assistant-Director General for Access to Medicines and Health Products, Dr Mariângela Simão said that as more variants of the virus develop, one of the best strategies to fight it (coronavirus) is to get more people vaccinated. 

Dr Simão further explained that almost a hundred low-income countries have not vaccinated 40 percent of their population because of financial reasons.

The Technical Advisory Group for Emergency Use Listing (TAG-EUL), made up of health professionals around the world. vetted the Covid vaccine based on safety, quality, efficiency, manufacturing sites, etc, and concluded that the vaccine attained WHO standard for COVID-19 vaccine.
